If you notice grunting, nasal flaring or recessions of their chest, any period where they stop breathing or their mouth looks blue, if they have no wet nappy for 12 hours or are taking in less fluid or milk than normal, then please seek urgent medical advice or call 999.
If anyone in the home smokes, it is important they do not smoke indoors, as this can increase the risk of more severe symptoms.
